3 Life Changing Habits & How to Make them part of Your Routine

Instead of setting goals, I set intentions, but nothing too big.  I choose to focus on smaller specific intentions that are attainable and that relieve any kind of pressure. This way, they organically become part of my life and I’m not focused on what I haven’t achieved. Setting smaller specific intentions allows for easier growth and fluidity.

I’ll show you how to implement 3 daily life changing habits into your daily life. Start small and add your own twist. Get creative.  Become aware of how these practices will gradually become part of the daily flow of your life & how your mindset begins to change ~~~

Journaling

okay, Anna, journaling…so what the heck am I supposed to write about???

First of all you’re not “supposed” to write about anything, as you are not “supposed” to do anything

My favorite form of journaling is “morning pages”. The first thing I do when I wake up is I write down whatever comes to my mind, without judgment. Pen to paper. Don’t question your thoughts…just let them ~flow~. Read it a couple months later and you will be surprised at how creative your writing is.

I write out my daily affirmations in my journal as well. These change day to day based on what I am feeling or manifesting. Some examples are:

“I am worthy of receiving anything that I desire”

“I am loved”

“I am a badass”

“My success is inevitable and I am always on the right path”

“I am being guided everywhere I go”

“My immunity can fight off anything”

I always write out 3 things that I am GRATEFUL for every damn day. This will change your mindset & start your day in a receiving & grateful state. Be as specific as you can to get deeper with your gratitude.

“Im grateful to be alive right now”

Bring your journal along with your day. Anything you think of during the day, write it down, and come back to it before you go to bed. I love thinking of questions throughout my day and creating my own prompts for the morning. I have a lot of them in my Instagram story highlights but some of my favorites are:

“If my body could talk it would say…”

“what inspires you?”

“why am I here?”

“describe your setting with all of your senses”

“write a love letter to yourself”

These are just a few examples to get you thinking. You can also just diary about your daily life.

“What happened today?” “How did it make you feel?”

Putting these thoughts and feelings to paper is releasing & reviving. It makes me realize how many thoughts I have in my head and I feel a sense of “letting go” and “bringing in the new” when I journal. Let me know your favorite ways to journal.

Meditation

how do I meditate???

Instead of rushing out the door in the morning in an immediate fight or flight vibe, make time for a 10-15 minute meditation to calm your sympathetic nervous system and prepare yourself for the day. Meditation has given me the awareness to be less reactive in situations, destress, and enjoy every single millisecond of life to its greatest extent.

use a guided meditation from YouTube or another app… some of my favorites are these:

or close your eyes for 10-15 minutes in the morning and sit. focus on your breathe. slow your breathing and feel the inhalation and exhalation coming from your belly. if you can’t “quiet” your mind, recognize whatever comes to you and witness it. Don’t put any other thought into it. Just become aware that your attention is coming away from the breathe and then come back to the breathe.

Change Your Language

Your words create your reality.

Become conscious of what you say on a day to day basis.

What you say is a mirror image of what is happening in your life. If you become aware and make minor shifts in your language you will subconsciously break the barriers to hundreds of limiting beliefs that are preventing you from manifesting and reaching your highest potential

Some examples of language shifts are:

stop saying: That’s too expensive

start saying: this is a luxurious item

stop saying: I can’t afford that.

start saying:  I am so grateful that I will soon have the funds to pay for it.

stop saying: I am not ready

start saying: I am ready now and I am taking steps to reach my goal.

stop saying: but I don’t know how I am going to get the money

start saying: I am confident that the money will come to me because I have put in the work

stop saying: I am broke

start saying: I am abundant. Abundance is all around me. I have trillions of cells and trillions of dollars all around me.

your subconscious mind is taking in every single limiting belief that sneaks into your language. Stop downgrading yourself and start living and speaking like the person that you know you are
